The last stretch of the countdown, to a milestone in Welsh music history, has begun, with the much-anticipated maiden event of In It Together Festival just around the corner. Born out of a love of music, for Wales and the community, In It Together will celebrate it all at Old Park Farm in Margam on the Jubilee Weekend in June 2022 (3rd – 5th June).
The celebrity roster includes chart-topper John Newman, house veteran Green Velvet, and scouse rising sensation Jamie Webster, rounding out one of the largest and most eclectic lineups ever to land in Wales, with no noise limitations and a plethora of entertainment, cuisine, and culture.
In It Together is the latest release from festival titans Escape Records, which has produced some of the most celebrated events in the UK. This one will have EIGHT special stages with carefully chosen line-ups aimed to welcome 40,000 individuals of all ages, genders, sexualities, and origins. Maintaining the authentic festival culture, festival-goers will be camping on-site and enjoy unlimited music throughout each day.
The Parc Stage will be headlined by Two Door Cinema Club on Friday, featuring The Vaccines, Tinie Tempah, Fickle Friends, Gabriele, The Magic Gang, Vistas, and Courting. Then, on Saturday, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds perform with Editors, Craig Charles Funk & Soul Club, Soul II Soul, Andre Cushin, and others. Clean Bandit headlines on Sunday, with support from Scouting For Girls, HRVY, Nathan Dawe, Nathan Evans, The Hoosiers, and the fantastic Symphonic Ibiza.
On Friday, Armand van Helden, Roger Sanchez, Toddy Terry, Dan Shake, Lovely Laura, and others will take to the Panchaia dance stage, followed by Chicago house legend Green Velvet on Saturday alongside Eats Everything b2b Skream, Cloonee, Melé, and Ben Hemsley, and Hybrid Minds, My Nu Leng, Mollie Collins, Turno, and others on Sunday.
The Paddock sees headliners Jamie Webster, Jane Weaver and Spector perform across the weekend, with a host of Welsh up and coming superstars taking to the stage including Who’s Molly, Gwenno, Bandicoot, Los Blancos and more.
The Forgotten Gardens stage on Friday sees UKG legends Wideboys and Romeo bring their old school sound, while on Saturday, the UB40 Experience and Marley Experience will be driving the nostalgia with Ultrabeat and Kelly Llorenna taking over the Sunday.
This is just a small sample of the hundreds of talented comedians, performers, DJs, live acts and bands who will be lining up at the first-ever In It Together Festival. Its mission is to produce the ultimate Welsh Festival that means something to everyone and delivers a unique combination of Music, Arts, and Culture. It will be a location that promotes equality, diversity, and sustainability while focusing on mental health and well-being and providing a safe area for everybody.
