The Rebel
The fit: Break up with tradition and show your cheeky side! Whether you want to give your lover a not-so-subtle hint in Lauren Perrin kiss tights or grab life by the balls and do the kissing yourself with Isamaya’s lipstick, there are plenty of ways to ensure that this Valentine’s Day is anything but boring. Always the champion of female sexuality, the Rebel will adore feisty upcycled slips from Scottish brand Pure Barkin and Kate Ahn shoes featuring the LA artist’s striking self-portraits.
The fête: Fashion loving introverts will enjoy curling up with Ellen von Unwerth’s sensual photo book, while those willing to brave the current cold snap are encouraged to pull themselves up by their (Kate Ahn) bootstraps and celebrate all things 80s at the Tate Britain Late this weekend.

The Artist

The fête: Tickle the artistic funny bone by supporting sustainable fashion and women in visual arts, as six talented female artists take over the Hampstead Shelter Boutique on February the 19th for a live art-meets-fashion event in collaboration with contemporary art gallery Zebra One Gallery and non-profit organisation Women in Art. The upcycled pieces, which will come from garments donated to Shelter charity shops, will be transformed into works of art during the launch and displayed in the Hampstead shop until February 26th.
