5 Acts Not To Miss at Hospitality in the Park

The South London drum & bass authority Hospital Records brings to us their 23rd year of events under their world famous brand Hospitality. Spoiling us in the past with some of the most renowned drum & bass high flyers; Netsky, Camo & Krooked and High Contrast – what can we say, Hospitality only bring on the badass.

The UK’s biggest celebration of drum & bass culture, Hospitality In The Park 2019 now in its 4th year is almost upon us. Making a triumphant return to Finsbury Park, London on Saturday 21st September. After winning the ‘Best – Festival’ accolade at 2018’s Drum & Bass Awards this 360-degree celebration of dance music’s most exciting and diverse genre is not one to miss. A festival where you’re up close and personal with every other like minded festival goer, bouncing and moving together to the beat of what you love DRUM & BASS.

This year’s line up sees the festival host some of the finest array of bass-flavoured talent with Hospitality head honcho London Elektricity, BBC 1 resident Danny Byrd, and S.P.Y who will be curating a full stage of his own jungle driven event on the Dubplate Style stage. But that’s not all, with further arenas at the event courtesy of the likes of Outlook Festival, Dubplate Style, Med School and Main Squeeze, you’ll be spoilt for choice as the 1-day festival has set the bar high…

Personally, having always struggled with not knowing who to see when given an ensemble of the best I thought you’d appreciate a list of 5 ACTS YOU DON’T WANT TO MISS… of course in no particular order, starting with…

RONI SIZE x DAZEE x D*MINDS + MC JAKES (Royal Rumble x Run stage)

YES! YES! Ooomph! Bringing together these renowned DJ legends of Bristol with many strings to their bows – DJ and Mercury Prize winner Roni Size, producer, label owner, and broadcaster Dazee, producing and DJ Duo D*Minds, former pendulum MC and H.E.N.C.H record label owner MC Jakes. The suspense is more than intense, a compilation of explosive talent, from bouncy mix of jungle rollers, steppers with a peppering of jump up, and classic vibes, we cannot wait to see what’s brought to us before our eyes.
