City Splash 2023 in Pictures

Welcoming the start of summer, City Splash Festival 2023 returned to Brockwell Park on May Bank Holiday for the ultimate celebration of Caribbean and African music, culture, and food.

Bigger and better than ever, the 2023 festival hosted seven incredible stages playing everything from Reggae, Rap, Garage, Dub to Afrobeats and R&B – including Rampage Sound, Bossy Ldn, Foundation FM, VIP, The Shack, Channel One Sound, Pull Up, and the main stage The Yaad. Plus an impressive variety of 85+ artists including the likes of Uncle Waffles, Donae’o, Lutan Fyah, Jah Youth, Juls, Twinkle Brothers, Chronixx, Koffee, Shenseea, Skillibeng, Gyakie, Stylo G, Jah9 and Ayra Starr.

It was truly magical experience to see everyone from the diaspora and beyond come together to celebrate everything that makes the culture so special. Alongside the annual Notting Hill Carnival, City Splash holds a place as one of London’s most iconic cultural events. Embracing inclusivity, the event was welcomed by people of all ages, including children, who enjoyed carnival rides, and a mouth-watering food court serving up the best jerk chicken, mac & cheese, and plantain.
