As one half of Okay The Duo, performing alongside his sibling, OXLEE’s unrivaled ambition to break the drill and grime scene has made waves, with huge engagement and relentless energy. This can be seen in the duos latest offering ‘SUPER VILLAIN’, with OXLEE discussing how the single is a shift for his own goals.
“This song feels like me going back to my roots as an artist. When I moved back to London from Australia, I felt like an outsider in my own home, like people didn’t really accept me for who I was. That pushed me into a different mindset where I stopped trying to play nice and decided I was going to make things happen for myself, no matter what. I was chasing my dreams again, but this time with a chip on my shoulder. ‘Super Villain’ came from that energy, it’s about taking what’s mine and not letting anyone stand in my way.”
2026 looks set to be a huge year for OXLEE and Okay The Duo, as they continue to hit milestones on their way to building on their millions of followers and listeners and reaching an even broader global appeal.
