Saachisen Creates an Alt-Pop Symphony on ‘If You Knew What I Was Thinking’

Mumbai-born singer-songwriter saachisen effortlessly blends Indian classical, English choral, and electronic pop influences to craft her captivating alt-pop sound. With accolades including reaching the semi-finals of the International Songwriting Competition and Glastonbury’s Emerging Talent Competition, her early career shines with success.

Now, unveiling her latest single, ‘If You Knew What I Was Thinking,’ recorded at Abbey Road Studios and mixed by Amanda Merdzan, Saachisen enchants with warm bass grooves, delicate strings, and driving drums, all enveloped by her passionate vocals. The song captures the euphoria and frustration of new love, a testament to Saachisen’s songwriting prowess.

Excitement mounts as Saachisen prepares for her debut EP release and her first overseas headliner in Berlin. With past residencies at the Roundhouse and electrifying performances at venues like Cambridge Junction, Oslo Hackney, and the Southbank Centre, Saachisen’s live act dazzles audiences, as well as having been recognised as a finalist in the Eastern Eye ACTAs and with a sold-out headline show at the Star of Kings.
