Clara Chu HOT Beanies Bag Collection (£195-£395, available from 5th December)

Pigeons Are Pals Tights – Lazy Oaf (£18, sizes S-3XL)

British masters of fun dressing Lazy Oaf continue to provide us with the silliest of garms to keep us smiling in these unsilly times. From JW Anderson giving this humble bird its viral catwalk moment in late 2022 to this year’s TikTok trend ‘pigeon hair’, fashion has been key to the pigeon redemption arc. What better way to show your love for these round birbs than to display their likeness on your legs – and perhaps donate to London Wildlife Protection, who rescue injured city birds!

Skirt blue crochet – Lauren Perrin (£120, sizes S-XL)

Lauren Perrin’s love of bold 70s prints originally saw her brand focus on statement tights and gloves. Since then she has expanded to offer RTW. Made from natural materials or recycled polyester in her London studio, all products are sent in biodegradable packaging made from leftover fabrics. Pair this graphic print with a cropped puffer jacket, arm warmer and chunky snow boots for that pretend-I-can-afford-skiing-apres-ski vibe.

The Mubi x SCRT x Hopeworld Substance candle probably won’t change your life, but it will delight anyone who was calling Demi Moore ‘mother’ earlier this year. For those more interested in earlier cinematic classics – and not into spending £95 on a candle (fair enough) – Hopeworld has just dropped a collaboration with The Best Damn Pet Shop in Town, which includes the Gummi Venus de Milo candle (£25).
