Kalorama Madrid 2025 is back for its second edition, kicking off the summer with a lineup that blends international heavyweights with fresh local talent. The festival is known for its curated mix of global sounds and groundbreaking artists, creating a space where music transcends borders and genres.
This year, Kalorama continues to offer a unique experience, blending the refined French electro-pop of L’Impératrice with the genre-defying mix of jazz, hip-hop, and electronic music from BADBADNOTGOOD. Meanwhile, Alizz will bring his innovative fusion of pop and electronic production that has made him a standout in the Spanish music scene. With her captivating voice and natural elegance, Jorja Smith will deliver a blend of soulful ballads and modern electronic sounds. And after an 11-year hiatus, Scissor Sisters return to the Iberian Peninsula to celebrate their 20th anniversary with their glam-infused pop.
Here are five must-see artists performing at this edition:

Scissor Sisters
Queer pop icons Scissor Sisters are finally coming back to the stages after more than a decade. Known for their outrageous energy and anthemic bangers, their performance will be a glitter-filled celebration of their disco-pop legacy. Get ready for a night of bold glam and infectious tunes, with hits like Take Your Mama and I Don’t Feel Like Dancin’ bringing the party to Madrid.
Essential track: I Don’t Feel Like Dancin’
Jorja Smith
Jorja Smith’s voice is a force of nature. The British singer brings an elegant mix of soul and R&B with electronic touches that never fail to captivate any audience. Known for her emotionally rich ballads and modern grooves, Jorja has made a name for herself with tracks like Blue Lights and Be Honest, effortlessly navigating between genres while always staying true to her soulful roots.
Essential track: Blue Lights
BADBADNOTGOOD
With their groundbreaking fusion of jazz, hip-hop, and electronic music, BADBADNOTGOOD have redefined the live performance experience. Their ability to improvise and create atmospheric, genre-blurring soundscapes will make their set an unmissable one. Fans of experimental music are in for a treat. The collaboration with Tim Bernardes in Poeira Cosmica is a proper musical trip you won’t want to come down from.
Essential track: Poeira Cosmica
Alizzz
One of the most innovative voices in Spanish pop, Alizzz blends pop and electronic influences to create a sound that’s as forward-thinking as it is addictive. What’s the most interesting about him as an artist is that we all heard his style before knowing him as an artist when he was producing albums for some of the most well-known musicians in Spain like C. Tangana, Rels B, Amaia… His groundbreaking production style has helped shape contemporary Spanish music, and his live show will offer a mix of rhythm and emotion.
Essential track: El Encuentro
L’Impératrice
Bringing their sophisticated French electro-pop to the Spanish capital, L’Impératrice are set to deliver a danceable, retro-tinged performance that combines disco, funk, and synth-driven melodies. With their new lead-singer, Louve, who fits perfectly with their sound as I could hear in a concert in Barcelona last October, they will bring us songs like Vanille Fraise and Agitations Tropicales, with an irresistible groove and stage presence that will have us on our feet all night long.
Essential track: Agitations tropicales
