The Winter House made a bold statement with its SS25 jewellery collection, titled *The Flesh Is Grass*, showcased at 180 The Strand. Known for its prestige and bespoke creations, The Winter House has already graced the likes of Emily Ratajkowski in Travis Scott’s “I KNOW?” music video. This season, designer Liam Winter, a recipient of the BFC NEWGEN initiative, introduced his hauntingly beautiful pieces in a setting that felt as dark and mysterious as the jewellery itself. Silver designs shimmered against a shadowy backdrop, with the unsettling buzz of flies filling the air. At the heart of it all, Liam Winter himself demonstrated his craftsmanship, sculpting rings in real-time amidst dim, atmospheric lighting that enhanced the moody allure of the collection. The collection included rings, bracelets and necklaces crafted out of strong, powerful silver.
Positioned on the fringes of the city, The Winter House embraces the beauty of the overlooked—the cracked pavement, the overgrown alley, the faint glow of streetlights in the rain. These mundane yet poetic moments inspire Winter’s designs, which often carry religious undertones. With ‘The Flesh Is Grass,’ Winter has crafted another collection destined to be remembered, its quiet elegance leaving an indelible mark.
