It was 7 memorable days to remember as Tomorrowland Winter returned for 2023 to the stunning surroundings of The French Alps, for its biggest and best edition yet.
A truly one-of-a-kind winter festival adventure in Alpe d’Huez, Tomorrowland Winter, enchanted music and Snowsports lovers, uniting like-minded individuals, for a complete weeklong extravaganza with skiing, snowboarding, and the ultimate electronic music line-up with the biggest acts on the planet from the world of dance music.
Since its inception in 2019, Tomorrowland Winter has transformed the winter season and March into a spectacular time for electronic music enthusiasts. This year, the festival once again sprinkled its magic at Alpe d’Huez. We had the privilege of witnessing the incredible offerings of this third edition.
The experience an unforgettable winter getaway at an altitude exceeding 2000 meters, bringing delight in all-day celebrations at 8 major stages, including 4 located on the slopes and 4 covered and heated in the festival area, for a diverse range of performances and entertainment, nestled in the mountains, open to all until sunset. As night fell, the festival adventure continued at various Tomorrowland stages situated in the charming festival village, with the pièce de resistance being the Tomorrowland Main Stage, a huge 50 metres wide arena which reaches a staggering 15 metres up into the sky.
A festival to remember, the week of enchantment brougt over 150 artists performing, with over 22,000 attendees from over 90 different countries for an unforgettable event with plenty of action on the slopes, with thousands donning their ski’s and snowboards.
To cap off the experience, we witnessed electrifying beats of some of the world’s most exceptional electronic artists including AFROJACK, Axwell, B Jones, James Hype, Joris Voorn, Martin Garrix, Steve Angello and many more.
The Style
Ellesse, the renowned Italian sports lifestyle brand, partnered with Tomorrowland Winter for 2023 to present an exclusive ski collection that celebrated individuality and encouraged one to stand out from the crowd. The collaboration fused the ski heritage of Ellesse with the dynamic energy of Tomorrowland, resulting in a 21-piece capsule that offered a contemporary take on ski fashion. The Tomorrowland Winter x Ellesse range drew inspiration from Ellesse’s extensive archives and reimagined it with a contemporary twist to infuse flamboyance and personality. The collection showcased a vibrant colour palette of pink, red, white, and black, accompanied by the iconic Tomorrowland butterfly motif on its taping, making a bold statement against the snowy slopes, proving hugely popular with hundreds of visitors adorning the collection and making purchases at the Tomorrowland merchandiseÂ
