Based in Brisbane, producer and motion designer wastemall has established himself as an exciting artist to follow ever since he shared his debut single ‘Lights Out’ back in 2020, which was included in his debut EP ‘Don’t Tell Me’ later that year. Now, following a collaboration with talented singer/songwriter Jude York and a remix for Russell Small, DNO P and Sia Evans, wastemall has returned, giving fans a first taste from his upcoming EP with ‘All I Do.’
Filled with nostalgic melodies and lush instrumentation, ‘All I Do’ is a stunning auditory journey from start to finish. wastemall’s influences are undoubtedly diverse, and he is able to channel them masterfully. Starting off with minimal percussion and warm synths, the track slowly builds up into a groovy combination of vocal chops and lively sound design.
‘All I Do’ serves as the much anticipated lead single to wastemall’s upcoming EP ‘All I Want’, which embraces a more experimental side of the artist’s sound. Listeners can expect the forthcoming EP to combine a wide array of the genres and soundscapes that inform wastemall’s sonic identity, such as progressive and deep house, future bass and trap. ‘All I Want’ will be available for streaming from the 11th March, however in the meantime, enjoy ‘All I Do’ via the official visualiser, released to wastemall’s youtube channel!
