Introducing Lancey Foux for MCQ. London-based musician and rapper Lancey Foux has designed a series of performance pieces in collaboration with MCQ. The artist will wear these one-off custom garments on his Autumn 2021 UK tour. Each piece is crafted from leather and constructed with modularity in mind. Designs feature zips and removable sleeves bringing ultimate versatility to these workwear-inspired garments. Lancey is a collaborator for MCQ’s latest icon, IN DUST, which takes inspiration from updated British heritage. MCQ is based on collaboration across creative fields with Lancey’s custom collection building on this idea. The musician will wear his custom MCQ performance pieces at the IN DUST launch event in Manchester held on 11th November.
The party will celebrate MCQ’s latest icon and feature performances from Lancey Foux, IAMDDB, James McGovern, Bossy LDN, Akemi Fox, Yung OMZ, and our host, STRATEGY – in collaboration with NQ.Â
MCQ’s latest icon drew inspiration from industrialism and updated British heritage, which made Manchester a perfect venue choice, showcasing the city’s industrial past. IN DUST collaborator Lancey Foux will perform wearing the custom performance pieces he designed in collaboration with MCQ. Collaborator James McGovern will perform a poem that he has written for IN DUST. The event will also feature a performance from Manchester-based singer and rapper IAMDDB.Â
