How do you choose the artists and performers that will participate in the festival?

We make a mix of all kinds of artists in all styles and substyles of electronic music. Local and young talents, world famous DJs, etcetera. We have an artist team that is scouting new talent and trends.

How has technology played a role in the development of Tomorrowland? Are there any new technological advancements you’re excited to implement?  Can you tell us about any new features or experiences that attendees can expect at this year’s Tomorrowland?

We were one of the first festivals to develop our festival bracelets with technology and cashless system. We developed a brand-new digital festival during the pandemic, and we kept it. We invest a lot in our shows, lights and music and we are working with the audio technology of AREAL.

What kind of impact do you hope Tomorrowland has on the music industry and on its attendees? What role do you think music festivals like Tomorrowland play in the larger cultural landscape? How do they contribute to the conversation around music, art, and community?

We started an electronic music festival in daytime in Belgium, that was quite unique as all the other music festivals were offering pop, indie, rock music. We took DJs from the clubs to a festival that was colourful and during daytime. So that was already something new and, in a few years, DJ’s became stars.

Can you talk about the sustainability initiatives that Tomorrowland has implemented in recent years?

We have our Love Tomorrow platform: https://lovetomorrow.com/home

And of course, Tomorrowland Foundation: https://foundation.tomorrowland.com

How do you balance the commercial aspects of the festival with maintaining the integrity of the music and the overall experience for attendees?

In line up we offer all kinds of styles and substyles of electronic music. We innovate and try to offer new things to our festivalgoers.

What advice would you give to someone attending Tomorrowland for the first time?!

Try to connect with other people! Get to learn them and make friends for life!
