Over the bank holiday weekend, Nando’s made their highly anticipated return to the iconic Reading Festival. With a star-studded Nando’s stage lineup and a plethora of huge names choosing Nando’s as their meal of choice, the weekend was an enormous success. A-list peri-peri munchers included Pink Pantheress, AJ Tracey, Pa Salieu, Hazey, Potter Payper, BBC Radio 1’s Jack Saunders, Amelia Dimoldenberg, Love Island’s Ikenna, Tik Tok star Luke Bennett, Krept & Konan, K Trap, and more.
Constantly collaborating with the hottest names of the moment, Nando’s had stand out performance moments included Niko B’s ironic ‘Worst DJ Set of all time’, which saw a huge crowd of revelers moshing to his Drake-co-signed hit ‘Love Island freestyle’. Sir Spyro’s high-octane Grime set, Nia Archives stellar Jungle set, introduced by none other than Chicken Shop Date’s Amelia Dimoldenberg, an energetic set from Country Dons, French The Kid’s huge crowd, singing back every word, and a magnetic session from Guardian-one-to-watch South London rapper Jords.
For a Reading festival only, Nando’s are back with an exclusive l menu, as well as serving up your favourite menu items – from wings to grilled chicken or great imitator wraps, and a selection of sides and desserts. The exclusive festival munch included The Morning After Roll, (Chicken sausage, flame-grilled in your chosen spice and served in a portuguese roll, with lightly spiced yogurt mayo.) and the Chicken or Halloumi Festa PERi-chips (made with either chicken thighs and cheddar, or halloumi and pineapple chunks, tossed across peri-salted chips, with peri-ketchup and cool yoghurt mayo.
