East London based singer-songwriter and producer Chinwe balances her powerful and unique voice with a soft delivery on new track ‘Something Beautiful‘. The instrumentation provides a jazz backdrop for her to lay infectious melodies upon. The track is also an ode to her crisp production techniques and acts as an impressive showcase for a DIY artist.
Speaking on the single, Chinwe says: “Something Beautiful is about falling in love with someone but knowing that the relationship probably won’t survive past the situation or the circumstances that brought you together. It’s bittersweet because you know you’re ultimately not compatible, but at the same time, you’re going to just enjoy it for what it is and live in the moment.”
Chinwe has gained well-earned praise from the likes of Complex, Wonderland, Earmilk, Noctis Magazine, Fred Perry Subculture, Atwood Magazine, Variance Magazine. As well as Jamz Supernova on BBC Radio 1Xtra, BBC Introducing and Capital Xtra. With so many accolades under her belt, we can’t wait to see her career blossom.
