Andy Nicholson premieres a new music video for his pseudonym’s Goldteeth recent single ‘Once I Got Away From You Then Everything Worked Out’ featuring Murkage Dave. The former Arctic Monkeys bassist, founding member of the Sheffield indie band, opts for a very topical title as people daydream about what it would be like to get away from the current state of the world.
Nicholson is in charge of everything as Goldteeth. The new video for the soul-pop jam ‘Once I Got Away From You Then Everything Worked Out’ follows a woman around wearing a flannel shirt with black jeans running from a forest to the city.
Goldteeth shares his thoughts behind the visuals: “The ‘Once I Got Away From You Then Everything Worked Out’ video was directed by Chazz Adnitt. It shows how we are all trying to get away from things no one else knows about, whether a person, a place, or something just in our own heads. You don’t need to see what someone is getting away from, but it’s getting away that’s important.”
