Gavin Davies, AKA Greet The Chief, is back and sounding better than ever with his anthemic six-track EP Same Planet, Different Worlds. Loaded with guitar hooks, sing-along melodies, and festival-built euphoria, this solo project from the heart of Derbyshire is sounding grittier and more astute than ever.
Several tracks would feel right at home on Kasabian’s Empire, whilst remaining true to himself in every way possible. Bending indie-rock out of shape, in the best way possible, Gavin says that “authenticity is at the heart of my work” and “what you hear is what you get”. We hear that, loud and clear.
