Two-stepping its way into summer, Nando’s has today announced the arrival of Nando’s Yard Unlocked – a series of five free parties across the UK from 21st June, which will see restaurants turned into music venues in celebration of the long-awaited end of lockdown.
Turning up the heat (and the music!) in four UK cities – Leeds, Birmingham, London, and Bristol – restaurants will switch to dancefloors for one night only as Nando’s works with local promotors to produce an intimate celebration of each city’s music and culture combined with its iconic PERi-PERi.
Don’t see your city in the mix? Fear not, because Nando’s is also calling on fans to vote for the fifth and final city in the series of events which will celebrate the return of dancefloors and the end of social distancing measures this summer. Simply head to the Nando’s Yard website, register your details and pick the location of your choice to get your city to the top of the leader board.
With an impressive line-up already confirmed, including the likes of Novelist (London), Skream (Leeds), Jossy Mitsu (Bristol), and Emerald b2b Alexistry (Birmingham), Nando’s looks set to be the destination for the ultimate post-lockdown get together with friends. However, with just 100-150 capacity, places are limited, with PERi-PERi fans encouraged to keep their eyes peeled on Nando’s Yard website for ticket info in the coming months.
And in a nod to the population that has arguably lost one of its most sociable years to the pandemic, Nando’s will be giving 4,000 students the inside track on info, first dibs on tickets, and more via an exclusive drop of a brand new product – Pocket PERi-PERi – a mini, squeezable bottle of sauce which doubles up as an all access pass via a special QR code to Nando’s online youth hub, Nando’s Yard.
From 11am today, students will be able to register for a Pocket PERi-PERi kit through which they’ll be able to get exclusive info before the general public on Nando’s Yard Unlocked as it’s announced.
To be entered into the prize draw and be in with a chance of bagging a Pocket PERi-PERi, students should register via the Nando’s Yard website. If you miss out on the Pocket PERi-PERi drop, never fear, you can keep your eye on the same website for more information on Nando’s Yard Unlocked – from tickets (pre-sale May 14th and general on 21st May) to full line-ups.
