In conversation with Natalia Damini, Noctis Magazine delves into the singer’s deep connection to music, exploring her relationship with the art form and the creative force that drives her work.

Explain your relationship with music, did you have many musical influences in your childhood?

My relationship with music started when I couldn’t even walk, my grandad used to say every time he played songs I would be bouncing from side to side trying to dance lol but growing up my musical influences at the time were mainly Britney Spears and Michael Jackson, I used to try to perform like them as a kid.

I read you your style is a unique blend of modern R&B, Pop, and Dance music – how and why did you gravitate to these genres?

I didn’t really gravitate to any specific type of genre, it just seems these are the type of songs that I seem to write to.

Tell us a little about the new release “Attitude” – what inspired the track and what was it like to make?

The Jacksons inspired the track because I was initially writing to them, so as I loved them so much writing this song was very easy.

You had Tito Jackson, from the legendary group The Jacksons, accompany you on the track – what was he like to work with?

He is a true gentleman, he is a part of music royalty, it was an honour!

Name some of your most cherished moments as an artist so far.

When people tattoo my name and lyrics of my songs on their bodies, also when I’m on stage and they sing along to my songs, it’s a feeling I can’t even describe.

On the flip side, what have been some challenges, and how did you overcome them?

I think the biggest challenge is how the music business is so political.

How do you see your music and artistry developing over the next few years?

I just wanna keep getting better.

And finally, is there anything you have coming up that we should keep our eyes and ears open for?

Well, I have a great song with the rapper Stitches, that I’m very excited about and I have another song produced by Jesse Johnson from The amazing Time, can’t wait to share it with the world!
