Rising French DJ / producer Matveï’s new single ‘ENTROPY’, a boisterous, dance floor ready entry, full of eccentric twists and turns, brings the fun back to club music, lifted from his forthcoming EP ‘TALES_FOR_NIGHTCLUBS_II’ out through Kitsuné Musique this summer.
Following on from the recent ‘TALES FOR NIGHTCLUBS I’ EP released earlier this year, Matveï perfects his hedonistic spin on the genre with a dollop of upfront house and latin tinged influences. Speaking about the record, he says: “ENTROPY is the most aggressive record I’m putting out this year. It’s a tech house influenced track that differs from the rest of my more melodic, warm music, but since this year is about experimenting I wanted to explore harder stuff as well. This song is also for the DJs, with build ups that hype you up before the drops hit you in the face full force.”
Matveï is a one’s to watch of the new generation. Brought up on Electronic and Rap music, the French producer makes up an exciting cocktail of international house and urban club sounds. Spotted by Kitsuné Musique while just turning 18, his first releases quickly raised his profile on international tastemakers radar – with support from Martin Garrix and official remixes for the likes of and Future Classic, Liv Dawson and Crystal Fighters. Already supported by Brut, BBC Radio1 and peaking at #3 on NACC (Electronic), Matveï’s trajectory is on the rise.
