Filed deep within the stacks at Archives, The Index is a grassroots party built for the community — not the industry. At a time when London feels priced out and locked off, The Index holds space for those who keep the culture alive. With tickets at just £3 and drinks prices slashed to 2 doubles for £12 and a can of beer for £3.50, this is about putting the dancefloor first — not profit.
The Index is partnering with local collectives to provide an opportunity for rising stars to play in a big room on a Funktion 1 Sound System. The collectives responsible for hosting room 1 are London Sound Academy and The Faded Community. London Sound Academy will be Showcasing the graduates from its esteemed DJ Course and The Faded Collective have curated a lineup from local London favourites and the winner of their DJ B2B Competition. Caveman Collective are hosting room 2 bringing the high energy Jungle & Dnb sonic blend they have got a reputation in the London’s underground for.
Production partners Sound Services and InDepth are also providing a one of a kind visual and sonic experience for all attendees. Workshops in live sound and immersive lighting fundamentals will also be taking place before the event to nurture the next generation working behind the scenes, not just behind the decks.
Expect a boundary-pushing sonic and visual experience that blur lines between UK techno, percussive club, dnb mutations, future jungle and more — programmed to celebrate local talent and underground energy. Low cost. High energy. Full frequency. A Funktion 1 sound system and immersive visual installations. Access the Archive. Welcome to The Index.
