Following a fantastic debut edition in 2021, Surrey’s greatest dance festival is back for a bigger and better 2022; a bigger line-up, larger capacity, and more hotspot stages. With our star-eyes on big-star performances by Skream and Prospa, Noctis Magazine hits you with the highlights of the day.
Surrey’s One Out Festival flared to life last weekend, deep inside the grounds of Apps Court Farm. They arranged a celebration in a stunning naturalistic environment, complete with hidden lakes, thick ancient trees, and rolling hills; it was simply a time to remember.
This year One Out curated four carefully and expertly designed stages with a focus on the diversity of music and crowd. They ran three stages across the day, in the outside area glared the VIP campervan-style decks, having acts such as Griff, Crazy P and Jess Bays take centre stage throughout the day.
A smoke-filled, high-tech main stage witnessed renowned DJ duo Prospa play tracks ‘Prayer’ and ‘Ecstasy (Over & Over)’, and when the drizzle of rain fell, the signature Prospa euphoric feeling settled in. After was Melè, who took to the decks to brighten up the day with his groovy, yet hard, heavy beats. Bristol’s much-loved Eats Everything headlined the main stage after Sam Devine but they quickly made their way over to the tent for the grande finally…
The big blue tent was a much-needed addition to the festival, with complete vibes on the inside and out, all throughout the day. Starting with TikTok turned DJ sensation Jakkob; a real comedy character in the rave community – with some funky beats. Then party starters The Menendez Brothers span some sounds, warming up the day for the radiant night ahead.
The tent in the evening immersed in sets by Jasper James, DJ Senfield, Dusky and came to a close with Skream. But, when we thought the night was coming to a close (the grande finally you were waiting for)… a three-way unique and spontaneous b2b was in full swing, making up of Skream, Eats Everything and Jasper James – what a summer highlight.
The whole festival was brought to life by a team of proper music lovers who cared about the details. One Out Festival is a stunning British rural rave with great, one-of-a-kind music. We are already looking forward to next year.
